Stephen Beach

The New Haven Colony was an English colony in what is now the state of Connecticut. The colony was from 1637 to 1664.

Stephen Beach was born on May 4, 1763 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was the son of Elihu and Zerviah Beach.

1801 King vs. Stephen Beach and Aaron Stevens-Larceny-found a true bill. Plea-to have Indictment quashed which Court ordered and Defendants discharged after paying their fees. (Johnstown District/Leeds and Grenville Court of General Sessions of the Peace)

Stephen was in the 1'st Leeds Militia during the war of 1812.

He married Amy Patterson, Lemuel Mallory's widow on June 18, 1833.

Emma Beach of Younge age 63 years died 10 Feb 1849 of decline.

Connecticut's first European settlers were Dutch.
